Very professional approach to all aspects of care. All my appointments were on time and handled efficiently. Detailed explanations given with time to ask questions all of which received a full response. I felt i could ask him anything and would receive an honest explanation, which inspired confidence . One item i would like to suggest could be improved is to wait until client interview is complete before recording memo detail for follow up letter. Whilst recognising that this may be viewed as an efficient element of time mamagement it could give the impression to some clients ( not me) that listening is less than 100%. Would most certainly recommend Mr Longstaff to anyone. I am very pleased to have received his treatment.

My extreme thanks to the man who gave me a new lease of life. I felt totally confident going through this operation and trusted him as a thorough professional and was well justified in this. Before the operation I thought I was headed for a wheelchair; now i'm free and independent thanks to his skill. I am quite satisfied with all my hospital care and outpatients care also.

A man obviously at the very peak of his profession but who, at each stage of of my knee replacement process, took the time to explain in words I could understand what was involved - benefits and risks. This helped give me the assurance to proceed along, which was to me, an unknown and to be honest, a frightening road. It is only seven weeks since my operation was completed and although there is still some discomfort associated with recovery, the improvement has exceeded my expectations. This I am convinced is down to the care and expertise of Mr Longstaff and his team. Thank you! I may need my other knee replaced in the near future, my recent experiences have given me the confidence to "go for it"

My surgery was in July 2018 and Mr Longstaff was fantastic from start to finish, I couldn't believe it went so smoothly. From my first meeting with Mr Longstaff I was made to feel at ease and very positive about the operation. He explained everything clearly and fully answered any concerns. I made a very good recovery and now my life is so much better. I am scheduled to have my other hip replaced next year. I have no anxiety as I have complete confidence in Mr Longstaff and his exceptional team. I would highly recommend Mr Lee Longstaff to anybody requiring a hip replacement.

Mr Longstaff has treated me over the past twelve months for two hip replacement operations in the last six months. He has proven to be a very caring person as well as a surgeon with first class skills. Overall, he is an excellent doctor who we are lucky to have in Durham. Thank you for all you have done and your team and nursing staff who helped bring about my return to good health.
